  • Request Accommodation Letters

For students who are fully registered with the DRC, submit an electronic Accommodation Letter Request Form. If you request Letters prior to the beginning of the semester, your Letter Packet will be available for pick-up the week before classes begin. If you request Letters after the semester has begun, we require 3 business days to process your request.

If you have never used accommodations at NWACC before, plan to spend 15-20 minutes with one of our counselors who will review your letters with you, discuss student responsibilities, and address any questions you have.

Please be aware that you must request Accommodation Letters every semester!

  • Request Alternate Media (Alt-Media)

If you have been approved for digital textbooks, you must complete an Alternate Media Request Form (available in the DRC office). Be aware that procuring these materials takes considerable lead-time, up to several weeks. You will receive an email from the DRC once your media is ready for pick-up.

Please be aware that you must request alternate media  every semester!

  • Videophone

The Disability Resource Center is pleased to offer access to a videophone for all college affiliates (students/faculty/staff).

This means that any Deaf or hard of hearing person who needs to make a call using a videophone, such as to a hearing person through a Video Relay Service (VRS), can come to the DRC office and make the call.
