Financial Aid Office
Where to start
There are several financial resources available for you if you wish to apply for financial assistance. You should start the process by completing the application for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
The Spring 2017 priority processing date is November 1st. To have your financial aid eligibility reviewed prior to the payment due date for the semester, you must complete your financial aid file by the priority processing deadline.
We will still process federal aid requests received after that date; however, you may be required to setup payment plan to hold your classes while we determine your eligibility. Students applying after the priority deadline may receive notification of exclusion or ineligibility after the appeal process is closed. Please visit our Satisfactory Academic Progress page to be sure you are meeting the minimum standards.
Federal Financial Aid
The Financial Aid Office administers the Title IV federal aid program that includes the Pell grant, Federal Direct Student Loan program, Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity grant, and the Federal Work-Study program.
To apply for Federal Financial aid, you must first complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Student Aid) to determine your eligibility for Federal financial assistance.
State Financial Aid
The Financial Aid Office also processes state scholarships and grants administered by the Arkansas Department of Higher Education.
The deadline to apply for Arkansas state aid is always June 1.
