Tutoring

 

FALL 2009 WCC TUTORING SERVICES:

Tutoring is now available on:

Monday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Tuesday from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Tutoring is now being held in the WCC Student Center (Suite C).

 

Tutoring Services are also available in the Learning Lab & Writing Center at the main campus.

The Learning Lab is located in Burns Hall near the Student Center.

The Learning Lab offers instructional, individualized, supplemental and technological assistance outside the classroom to aid students' efforts to achieve academic success. We offer free tutoring by our CRLA-certified tutors in areas of science, math, basic computer information, and a limited number of other subjects. Also our lab offers free computer use and assistance to all students. The Learning Lab also has many other ways to assist students that are described in more detail in the Learning Lab Handbook.

Mondays 7:00 a.m. - 9:30p.m.

Tuesday 7:00 a.m. - 9:30p.m.

Wednesday 7:00 a.m. - 9:30p.m.

Thursday7:00 a.m. - 9:30p.m.

Friday 7:00 -5:00 p.m.

Saturday 8:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

 

 

The Writing Center

 

The Writing Centeris available via e-mail the Writing Center at write-in@nwacc.edu. Please allow two business days (M-F) for a response.

 

The Writing Center is currently at the Main Campus in Burns Hall 1109.

The Writing Center is free to all students. When you visit, an experienced writing instructor will assist you with your writing process.

 

Fall 2009 Hours:

Mondays: 9:00 am to 7:00 pm

Tuesdays: 9:00 am to 7:00 pm

Wednesdays: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm

Thursdays: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm

Fridays: 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
