Empowering NorthWest Arkansas Community College Employees

To Create a More Inclusive and Welcoming Campus

This four hour, diversity and cultural awareness workshop
will open your eyes and minds to what your contribution
has been to perpetuating stereotypes, prejudice, and discrimination.
The question – What can you do differently to build a more inclusive and welcoming campus environment and community? – will be explored through discussion and a series of interactive and action-oriented exercises.
The session was facilitated by Val Gonzalez
from NCCJ (The National Conference for Community and Justice). NCCJ promotes understanding and respect among all races, religions and cultures through advocacy,
conflict resolution and education. |
