Walking the Wilds Sept. 26 at NWACC
FRIDAY, Sept. 21, 2007) - NWACC Music has announced a free brown bag presentation (bring your own lunch) entitled, “SIX MONTHS WALKING THE WILDS (Of Western Europe)” on Wednesday, Sept. 26.
The event will begin at noon in the Music Recital Hall on the NWACC campus in Bentonville. The program will feature photos and stories by Dr. Steve Cooper.
Cooper has recently returned from a 2,000 mile walk on El Camino de Santiago, an ancient pilgrimage that leads to Santiago de Compostela in Spain.
The walk began in the south of Italy, in the heel of the “boot”. From there his route ran northward to Rome, up through Sienna and around the Ligurian coast, across the south of France and the top of Spain.
The event is free, and the public is invited. For more information, contact (479)619-4261 or scooper@nwacc.edu.
