SIFE to host international leaders Friday, Jan. 25, in Burns Hall
BENTONVILLE (Thursday, Jan. 24, 2008) - Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) at NorthWest Arkansas Community College will host two business leaders from Columbia noon Friday, Jan. 25.
Faculty, staff and students are welcome.
German Casas is chief financial officer for Manufacturos Eliot, S.A., the second largest clothing manufacturer in Latin America. The company is headquartered in Bogota. Casas also is president of Fundacion Cuidarte, a non profit foundation that works with leaders on Biblical values and principles in Columbia.
He will attend the conference along with Liliana Martinez who is with Mundocomercio and supplies clothing and other necessities to the Columbian military.
Martinez serves on Casas’ Foundation Board.
Casas and Martinez will speak to the topic “Globalization and the Future World.” Their talk in Burns Hall Room 1211 will center on integrity in conducting business globally, said Becky Hudson, alumni relations coordinator and SIFE advisor at NWACC.
