NWACC providing licensed electricians CEU seminar

BENTONVILLE (Monday, October 29, 2007) – NorthWest Arkansas Community College will hold an 8-hour seminar for licensed electricians Saturday, Nov. 17, at the Shewmaker Center for Workforce Technology.

The seminar fulfills the annual continuing education unit required by Arkansas law.

All licensed electricians must complete a seminar by January 1, 2008, according to Rick Mayes, NWACC skilled trades coordinator.

The seminar will be presented by the Arkansas chapter of the International Association of Electrical Inspectors.

"This is a great opportunity for those in our region to take the seminar,” Mayes said.

Licensed electricians needing or wanting to take the 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. seminar can register in person or by phone with Mayes at the Shewmaker Center, 936-5162.

Cost is $100 and includes lunch.
