Business Leaders Lecture Series to feature
Bill Stribling
BENTONVILLE (Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2008) – Bill Stribling, president of the Stribling Group in Rogers, will be the featured speaker 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 19, for the fall Jack Shewmaker Business Leaders Lecture Series.
The lecture series is sponsored by the NorthWest Arkansas Community College chapter of Students in Free Enterprise and hosted at the Shewmaker Center.
NWACC recently announced that its Sustainably Institute within the Global Business Development Center under construction on campus will be named after the Stribling Group.
Stribling, pictured right, will discuss “Entrepreneurship Today,” addressing the history of Stribling Packaging, entrepreneurship defined, today’s entrepreneurial climate, general information and his thoughts on entrepreneurial businesses.
Stribling graduated from Rogers High School and then attended Ole Miss and Southern Arkansas University where he earned a BBA in Marketing
Stribling started in his current position in 1985. He is active in his community, involved with the Rogers-Lowell Area and Bentonville-Bella Vista Chambers of Commerce, First Western Bank Advisory Board, United Way of Northwest Arkansas, the Ro-Ark Group as a board member and various community outreach programs.
