NWACC instructors to discuss new classes in Advanced Analysis, Category Management

            BENTONVILLE (Monday, August 04, 2008) – Two instructors from the Marketing Analyst Program at NorthWest Arkansas Community College will be on campus Thursday, Aug. 7, talking about two new classes targeted to professionals already working in the vendor community.

            Valerie Wilson and Traci Barrios will be available 11 a.m. in the Shewmaker Center atrium to discuss with potential students the two classes, Advanced Analysis with MS Office and Category Management.

            Both classes start in September.

            The Advanced Analysis with Microsoft Office class requires advanced Excel and Access skills,” said James Thulin, NWACC Retail Programs coordinator and Retail Link site administrator. “The class will help analyst professionals work smarter not harder by harnessing the full power of MS Office.”

            The new Category Management class was developed by a group of seasoned category management professionals working in the retail supplier community, Thulin said. 

“The course will be open to any analyst who wants to learn about the category management process or for someone who wants to find their way into the category world.
