Nursing Pinning for Access Nursing Class
and LPN to RN Transition Saturday, Sept. 6
BENTONVILLE (Thursday, July 31, 2008) - The Nursing Pinning Ceremony for the 2008 Access Nursing Class and the 2008 LPN to RN Transition Class will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, at the Arend Arts Center at the Bentonville High School.
The Pinning Ceremony celebrates the students’ completion of the Associate of Applied Science degree in Nursing and their entry into professional nursing.
This year, a total of 38 students will be pinned. Of them, 36 are Access Nursing students, having completed the accelerated track, and six are LPNs who received advanced placement for their previous nursing experience and subsequently completed the AAS degree.
