Ask the Library

Submit the kind of question you would ask in person at the Library.
The Library staff will not do your research for you, but will provide short answers to factual questions and suggest print and/or electronic sources to aid your research efforts.
Do preliminary research before asking a question. Check your assignment to know what information is needed and your textbook to learn names, keywords, dates, and correct spelling.
Fill in all information on the form below. The more you tell us about why you need this information, what you will do with it, and where you have already searched, the better the answer will be on the first reply.

In order for the Librarian not to duplicate your efforts, please list the sources you have checked and the keywords used.

Although response times may vary, usually you will have an answer in 24 hours. If the question requires extensive research, the answer will be, "Come to the Library and speak with a Librarian."
