Classroom
Is available for faculty
members who wish to teach their students computer-based applications in a
convenient setting. There are 20 student computers, and an instructor’s computer
with special software designed to allow the instructor to control the student
computers from this console. There are viewing options for multimedia sources
such as VHS and DVD with a wall-mounted flat-panel television and overhead
projection system. The classroom also offers training sessions on using a host of computer-based library applications, such as online journal research.
