NWACC Distance Learning on Twitter

Receive updates on our Blackboard system via your mobile device.*

The NWACC Distance Learning Department will send out short text messages ["tweets"] when there are outages, upcoming maintenance periods, or other things you should know about our Blackboard system. This service is free, but normal text message charges by your phone company will apply.

Tweets will only be sent out when there is important news of interest to all Blackboard users. Faculty will continue to receive direct messages from the Distance Learning Department via NWACC email.

How to sign up:

1. Send a text message to 40404 with follow nwaccdl in the body of the message.

2. You will receive a text message back from Twitter asking you to supply your name. Reply with your name [first name only is fine].

3. You will receive a text message back from Twitter confirming your subscription.

If you wish to unsubscribe from this service, send a text message to 40404 with stop nwaccdl in the body of the message.
