Bob Arthur
Bob Arthur is a certified Senior Professional inHuman Resources (SPHR) and is the Northwest Arkansas representative of employer Advantage. Bob is a Certified Professional Facilitator of the achieveglobal™ Leadership and Customer Service Programs and Future Achievement International’s Achieving Authentic Success ™ program. Bob is a professional member of the National Speakers Association(NSA), the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD).Bob's background includes leadershipof business and non-profit groups, broadcast media and public speaking. Bob is also a published author;his work includes guest commentary in the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal and the book 'incredible influence.’ |
Nelson Caldwell
Nelson Caldwell was Vice President of Finance and CFO of Tut Systems, Inc., from 1997 to 2001. Tut Systems designs and manufactures data communications equipment transforming broadband access into services; it was recently acquired by Motorola, Inc. He previously served as CFO of Telechips Corporation, a computer telephony device company. Prior to that, Mr. Caldwell was a practicing CPA and Manager with Coopers & Lybrand, LLP (PriceWaterhouseCoopers), with clients ranging from start-up to global in scope, in a diverse mix of industries including communications, oil and gas, medical service and supply, retail, utility, and not-for-profit. Mr. Caldwell graduated summa cum laude from Calif. State University, Chico, with a degree in Business Administration, and has extensive financial, legal, human resource, management information, and public relations experience, most recently serving as an adjunct faculty member for Northwest Arkansas Community College. |

Jim Corbin
Jim Corbin has strong experience in world-class manufacturing operations, having served over 25 years as Director of Operations, Plant Manager, Director of Materials, Materials Manager, Supervisor of Planning, Supervisor of Scheduling, and Planner/Buyer with Fortune 500 companies. While in management positions Jim was very active in training staff in areas of management development, technical skills, and organizational effectiveness. Prior to his manufacturing career he taught biology and coached in the secondary school system in Atlanta, Georgia, and Asheville, North Carolina. Jim has a BS in biology from East Tennessee State University. Jim currently works as the Executive Director of Operations for NWACC Corporate Learning. |

Stennett Thompkins
Stennett Thompkins has more than 20 years of corporate and non-profit leadership experience in management and staff development including personal effectiveness coaching, productivity improvement, customer service, and strategic planning. He is an insurance agent for AAA Insurance and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Rogers/Lowell Chamber of Commerce and is Chairman of the Rogers/Lowell Chamber of Commerce Small Business Council. Stennett also serves on the Board of Directors for the American Red Cross, Northwest Arkansas Chapter. He is a member of the Rogers Noon Rotary Club, and a graduate of Leadership Benton County. Stennett has a BBA in Marketing and an MA in Organizational Management.

Ivonne Garrison
Ivonne Garrison has a BSBM Degree in Business Management, an AA Degree in Sociology, and has extensive studies in marketing, bilingual interpreting and translating, production, planning/scheduling, inventory control, and MRPII. She has worked as a Senior Buyer/Planner, Procurement Specialist, Planning/Purchasing Administrator, and International Marketing and Sales Administrator. Ivonne has taught business and language classes in America, Mexico, and Taiwan. She currently works as an adjunct instructor for NWACC, a translator/interpreter for Wal-Mart, a tutor for Club Z, and in various translation/interpretation roles for ASIT, Administration of the Courts, ARORA, and the City of Rogers.

Sheila Wiley Smith
Sheila Smith has an MBA, specializing in organizational management, and a BS in Business Education, specializing in computer science and accounting. She has taught business and computer classes at the college level for 7 years. In addition to teaching, Sheila was the Business Technology Department Head for two years at the Louisiana Community and Technical College, Ferriday, LA, prior to moving to NorthWest Arkansas and joining the NWACC team at the Shewmaker Center in November 2005. She currently works full-time as a Corporate Training Specialist for NWACC Corporate Learning. |
Melodie Marcks
Melodie Marcks’ background includes hands-on experience in the areas of workforce curriculum development and evaluation, pediatric special education services, and university instruction and training. She has been on the staff at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and Fort Smith as well as the University of Missouri at Columbia. Prior to entering the field of education, Melodie held several leadership positions in the health care industry, including 13 years as Vice President of the Visiting Nurse Association of Central Florida where she developed business ventures in the area of work-family benefits, case management and long term care insurance. Ms. Marcks has an MS in Public Health and a BS in Community Science. She is a member of the American Society of Training and Development (ASTD) and is a certified trainer for AchieveGlobal and Extended DISC. She is currently on staff at NWACC Corporate Learning as the Training Coordinator.
