Computer Support Specialist Certification
The Computer Support Specialist program is designed to give entry-level computer help desk and support professionals the skills needed to succeed in a modern help desk environment. From technical skills to "soft" skills, this program gives the emerging IT support professional the tools to succeed in securing a job and moving ahead quickly. For individuals already employed in the computer support industry, this certificate of continuing education will give them the skills needed to advance their career more quickly. All students are also encouraged to take additional courses leading toward industry certifications by CompTIA and Microsoft. The Level II Support Certificate includes four such certification courses. (Testing services for these certifications are available at the NWACC Shewmaker Center for Workforce Technologies Pearson-VUE test center.)
