About the NWACC Alumni Association

The mission of the NorthWest Arkansas Community College (NWACC) Alumni Association is to promote a mutually advantageous relationship between NWACC, its Alumni, current students, and the community; to unite with NWACC to fulfill its mission, vision, and strategic goals; and to represent NWACC by promoting a positive image to the community, businesses, and all stakeholders.

The vision of the NWACC Alumni Association is to develop bonds with NWACC, students, local businesses, and the community while continuing to fulfill NWACC’s mission and vision. This vision will be accomplished by:

• Maintaining and strengthening a sense of community through community and local business programs
• Keeping open lines of communication between alumni and NWACC about NWACC events, recognitions, and alumni events
• Keeping faculty involved with alumni to promote lifelong learning
• Assisting current students with mentoring, tutoring, and networking opportunities
• Encouraging alumni involvement with NWACC programs, NWACC related political issues, committees, and events
• Partnering with development, admissions, and the career center to encourage alumni involvement in fundraising, recruiting, and career opportunities
• Creating excitement in current students about their lifelong engagement with NWACC
