Requirements for the Certificate of Proficiency in Hospitality


To acquire a Certificate of Proficiency in Hospitality Management, student requirements include successful completion of the following course work:

Introduction to Hospitality Management - 3 credit hours

Interpersonal Communications - 3 credit hours

Hospitality Internship - 4 credit hours

Plus, students can choose two (6 credit hours) from the four courses listed below:

Food Safety and Sanitation - 3 credit  hours

Food and Beverage Management - 3 credit hours

Hotel Operations - 3 credit hours

Arkansas Tourism - 3 credit hours

Credit Hours for a Total of 16
