Aviation Programs

Associate of Applied Science, Aviation Technology

The Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree is an option for students working towards a two-year degree and does not have the benefit of transferability for a Bachelor's degree at an institution offering a four-year degree.

It is very important to understand that if a student considers he or she may want to work towards a four-year degree, the AAS would not be appropriate.

The following is a listing of degree requirements for the AAS degree. These are the minimum listed requirements. Some classes such as English Composition I or College Algebra may require additional preparatory classes to achieve better success in the required class. It is recommended that interested students contact the NWACC testing center to schedule an assessment (Asset Test) of your individual capabilities prior to registration. That phone number is (501)619-4317.
