PTA Program Costs and Financial Aid

Students accepted into the PTA Program will be required to have the following prior to beginning Clinical Experience I in the fall semester:

Health Insurance

Background Check

Urine drug screen

TB Skin Test

Financial Aid

NWACC qualifies for financial aid such as Pell Grant, student loads, and other

student aid at: All students should complete the FAFSA upon application to the PTA Program to assist with determining eligibility for financial aide.

Scholarships

The Northwest Arkansas Community Foundation at 800 Founders Park Drive East, Springdale AR www.nwacf.org has provided the William Nelson Scholarship to selected qualifying students upon acceptance into the NWACC PTA Program. The Northwest Arkansas Community Foundation provided the first scholarship in June 2006. Four students were awarded the William Nelson Scholarship in June of 2007. The number of scholarships provided each year is determined by the Northwest Arkansas Community Foundation. Application forms for the William Nelson Scholarship will be provided in the PTA Program Application.
