Catalog course description:
(F, S, SUM).
An overview of the fundamental concepts of algebra. Topics include linear
and quadratic equations and inequalities; the Cartesian plane and graphing;
using a graphing utility; functions, graphs and models; polynomial and rational
functions; exponential and logarithmic functions; systems of equations,
inequalities and matrices. Starting the fall of 2004, a WWW version of
this course will be offered as an option, in addition to regular sections in the
standard instructional format and computer–assisted classes. |
