Honors Scholarships

Congratulations to Tim Payne and Brent Robbins for winning Honors Scholarships for Fall 2007 semester! Keep up the good work.

NWACC's Honors Program will be offering scholarships to the most successful applicants for the Spring 2008 semester. The scholarships are designed to assist outstanding honors students in meeting their educational goals here at NWACC.

Applicants must:

• be enrolled in at least one 3-credit Honors Course at NWACC

• submit 2 letters of recommendation, at least 1 of the letters must come from a teacher/professor

• have a minimum grade point average (gpa) of 3.5

• submit a 500-word essay introducing yourself to the Honors Committee, by addressing the following:

What makes an exceptional honors student?

• How do you fit the qualifications you set for an exceptional honors student?

• How will you be able to apply your honors experience to your life through your future activities, studies, and career?

Submit your application (available in the Financial Aid Office) no later than November 15, 2007, by mail to:
