Residency Appeal Form

Submit this form to appeal your residency status. Fill it out completely and remember to submit supporting documentation with it. Instructions are on the form.

Residency changes MUST be requested before the end of the semester for which the student is requesting the change. It is the student's responsibility to check his or her tuition rate before the payment due date each semester, and request any changes promptly.

Request your employer to verify your residency

Your employer (or your spouse's employer, or parent's employer for dependent students) may verify your residency. The Human Resources department at the employer should fill out this form.

It is used for one of two purposes:

  • To verify your current residency.
  • To waive the six-month residency period to receive in-state tuition. This waiver is for students who moved to Arkansas in order to accept or maintain full-time employment.
