What degree programs are offered at NWACC?
Associate of Arts (AA) - Transfer degree which comprises the general education program in the liberal arts. Courses taken in the approved core curriculum will also apply toward baccalaureate degree requirement at most four-year institutions.
Associate of Science (AS) - The Associate of Science Degree is a transfer degree designed for the student who wishes to major in engineering, agriculture, or the sciences. The requirements for these majors are usually heavily loaded with mathematics and science courses. Courses taken in the approved core curriculum will also apply toward baccalaureate degree requirement at most four-year institutions.
Associate of Arts Teaching Degree (AAT) The Associate of Arts-Teaching Degree is a transfer degree designed for the student who wishes to major in education. Courses taken in the approved core curriculum will also apply toward baccalaureate degree requirement at most four-year institutions.
Associate of Applied Science Degrees (AAS) - The Associate of Applied Science degrees are designed for students seeking to have concentrated training in a chosen career area to enter the workforce directly after graduation. These two-year degrees are offered in many different career areas.
Certificates - One to two semesters of concentrated training in a specific career area.

How do I change my residency status?

When can I sell my books back?
There are specific dates that you may sell your books back to the bookstore. The dates change each semester. These dates will be available on the NWACC campus or at the Bookstore.
How do I get a transcript?
Our transcript request form is available on the Student Records page.
What is the Smoking Policy at NWACC?
Regulations established by the NorthWest Arkansas Community College Board of Trustees designate the college as a "Tobacco Free Workplace." Pursuant to that policy, the College administration has prohibited smoking in all NWACC facilities except where expressly permitted.
Persons found smoking in non-smoking areas will be required to cease immediately. Repeat offenders will be referred to the appropriate Vice-President for further administrative action.
Do I need a parking permit?

How do I get transfer credit? Transfer credit is given for classes with a ‘C’ grade or above. Official transcripts are needed for awarding of credit. These should be submitted to the Registrar's Office. Credit is determined by the Registrar’s Office or a Department Chair. Your former college catalog class descriptions may be needed to assist in awarding credit.
