Arkansas Workforce Improvement Grant

To be CONSIDERED (not awarded) for the grant the following conditions MUST apply:

• You must have filed your FAFSA and it must have been received by the Processor no later than July 15.
• You must be 24 years of age or older by the first day of class for the fall semester.
• You must be an Arkansas resident (for at least 6 months.)
• There must be unmet need after all aid has been applied to tuition and fees.
• Students must be enrolled full time to recieve the full amount for tuition and fees.
• Awards will be prorated for students that are not enrolled full time
  • This does NOT mean unmet need from the cost of attendance budget.
  • If you received a refund at all, you are not eligible for this grant.
• NWACC will determine eligibility - you do not need to do anything.
• If you are awarded, you will receive an award letter from NWACC after the 11th class day.
