(formerly Tech Prep)

Technical Advanced Placement (TAP) or articulated credit provides you with an opportunity to earn college credit while in high school. NWACC has developed agreements with several northwest Arkansas high schools in the area of workforce education. High school students who are enrolled in Technical Advanced Placement courses can earn college credit while in high school and begin working towards an Associate of Applied Science Degree. You must earn an 'A' or 'B' in the Technical Advanced Placement course to receive college credit.

See your high school counselor for a list of Technical Advanced Placement courses, more information, and a Technical Advanced Placement credit application!

Benefits of Technical Advanced Placement
