Phase I guides (0-35 credit hours) Completion of the guide is a key component of the Success Plan in the Advising Success Center and also academic preparation for lower level major courses. Upon completion you will be over half-way through your associate degree.

Phase II guides (35-60+ credit hours) Completion of the Phase II guide will result in the completion of all or the majority of freshman/sophomore level courses required for your major at the university. In most cases you will have earned an associate degree before you transfer which is equivalent to about 1/2 of your bachelor degree.

MSU Course Equivalency Guides-Many schools now offer course equivalencies on their admissions website below. Remember that most listings say whether or not a course has a direct equivalent or will transfer to the college/university but do not indicate how the course would be applied toward satisfying a requirement for a particular major. You should talk with an advisor.
