A student who has never attended college or who has earned college credit while in high school.
1. Submit the Application for Admission: $10.00 fee
2. Submit Placement Scores. NWACC accepts the ACT, SAT, and COMPASS. If you have not taken the ACT or SAT, you need to take our COMPASS test if you plan to enroll at NWACC. See the Testing Center for hours. Bring the $10.00 testing fee and photo identification. Sample Questions at www.act.org/compass. If you live in Washington County, you may test at our Washington County Center. Call for an appointment: 479-936-5131.
3. Complete Online Orientation for First-Time College Students HERE.
Note: You must have your application and test scores submitted before completing orientation.
4. Advisement in the Advising Center - 2nd floor of Student Center or the Washington County Center - advisor will provide PIN for online registration. For advisement hours, call 479-619-4324 for the Student Center (Bentonville Campus) or the Washington County Center 479-927-3330.
5. Register online for your classes through My NWACC Connection. Did you forget the steps? Click HERE.

6. Complete the New Student Evaluation
7. Obtain a Photo ID in the Library. Photo IDs are required for checking out books in the library. Plus, show your NWACC ID and you may ride the Ozark Regional Transit Free.
8. Pay or make payment arrangements. NWACC drops students for non-payment. See the Cashier's Office for more information. Also, if you have not started your Financial Aid do so immediately.
9. Buy books. See the NWACC Barnes and Noble Bookstore for more information. Books are typically available for purchase 1-2 weeks prior to the beginning of class.
10. Turn in completed Official High School Transcript or GED and Proof of Immunization. See Admissions for more specific requirements and conditions.
11. Get your Parking Permit from Campus Safety located in Burns Hall Lobby.
12. If you are a Veteran or need information about Veterans' benefits please see the VA advisor in the Advising Center or call 479-619-2276.

Transfer
A student who has earned college credit at another institution prior to attending NWACC.
1. Submit the Application for Admission: $10.00 fee. You will receive your PIN for online registration when you turn in your application.
2. Placement Scores. If you have not completed college level Reading, Writing, & Math courses and wish to take a class in one of these areas, you will need to submit test scores. NWACC accepts the ACT, SAT, and COMPASS. If you have not taken the ACT or SAT, you need to take our COMPASS test if you plan to enroll at NWACC. See the Testing Center for hours. Advisors may use an unofficial copy of your transcript for advising purposes. Please bring a copy for your advisor to review. It is especially important to bring your transcript if you want to take a course that has a prerequisite. For example, if you wish to take Finite Math with NWACC, we must see successful completion (C or better) of College Algebra.

A student who previously attended NWACC but who was not enrolled in the previous Fall or Spring semester.

For advisement hours, call 479-619-4324 for the Student Center (Bentonville Campus) or the Washington County Center 479-927-3330. If you have attended another college or university, bring an unofficial copy of your transcript to the advising session.
