All of us are committed to helping you to have a most successful First Year at NWACC. We believe this class serves as a catalyst to help you persist in college. Prior to coming to the first class meeting, please secure your text, Power Learning: Strategies for Success in College and Life , Robert Feldman, at the bookstore in the Woods Lane Building (WLF). Woods Lane is approximately ¾ mile east of the college off Hudson Road (Hway 102). Turn north for one block.

You will be provided a 3-ring binder and one floppy computer disk or a rewritable CD on the first day of class. If you don't have an email address, please try to get one before you come to the first class. Free emails are available on yahoo.com or msn.com. If necessary, we will help you get one when you arrive.

Attached is a very important Student Information Sheet you need to complete and bring to the first class meeting.    Prior to class, if you have any questions, please contact one of us as soon as possible. Again, welcome to NWACC and the Successful First Year Student class!
