KATY FALKENBORG
Vice President
My name is Katy Falkenborg and I am proud to have been selected as one of NWACC’s Student Ambassadors. I recently moved from Oakland, California to NorthWest Arkansas to help with the care of my elderly grandfather. This move has given me the opportunity to pursue my educational goals. I plan on obtaining my B.A. within a three year period and then continue on into social justice law. I want to have the skills that will allow me to fight for justice and change the world for better. Civil rights are extremely important to me and I dislike bigotry or discrimination based on race, gender, sexual preference, age or religion.
NWACC is the first college I have attended and everyone here has made my transition back into school smoothly successful. NWACC’s sterling academic reputation and variety of scholastic options made NWACC an easy choice. The small class size and professors availability personalizes education to fit each individual. This is a great place to get involved and the many clubs and organizations provide the chance to connect with the students interests. I am happy to be at NWACC and I will be fully equipped to carry on, confidently achieving all my goals.
