Our Mission
The mission of the NorthWest Arkansas Community (NWACC) Upward Bound Project is to empower participants by building the skills and encouraging the motivation of each participant to complete their secondary education and to continue to a postsecondary education program.

Director Upward Bound
Jerry Moore just started his twenty-fifth year in TRiO.
Before coming to NorthWest Arkansas Community College he worked as a Academic Counselor for Student Support Services at the University of Arkansas Fayetteville. Jerry has a M.A. in Sociology from U of A Fayetteville. He has taught high school social studies in Fort Smith, AR. His love for his students is very strong.
He is in charge of running the day-to-day operation of the program, as well as budgeting and staff supervision. |
